4. It was a bad place for many however for others it was just a school. If you had a good time and met nice people thats really good! Let us not forget the OLD Dunconians from the 60s, 50s and 40s.

5. If you had a bad time at Duncan Hall, you are an adult now and don't go seeking to settle old scores. I read earlier today from someone who pointed out that fostering bullying and a peer violence system along with mad levels of PE and so on is part of fostering an unhealthy control over children - it wasnt the bullies fault most of the time, it was the institution.

6. ALL of the teachers not involved in the case of Derek Slade deserve to be left alone. Im sure Teacher X was a complete bastard and you hated them however they are nearly all in their 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s now. Leave them alone please.

7. Duncan Hall is NOT a school now - it is a privately owned house (and furnishings showroom). East House is gone, Prefabs are Gone. Life moves on. Please do not go trespassing in the old grounds without permission.

8. Yes the school sausages were awesome - I have no idea why. They were so terrible they were good.

9. Toby is still a ballet dancer and whilst we found it a bit gay, you have to admit that he got to spend his entire life surrounded by and sating hot ballet dancers. Well done Toby!

For anyone interested in finding out what the worst the private school system had to offer, please come in.

I would like to take a moment to dedicate this page to a good friend at the time, and a popular boy of the school, John Franklin, who sadly died whilst still in his early teens in the 80's. This had nothing to do with the school, and was apparently a form of cot death that affects older children. John was a popular boy, and would have had a great life ahead of him, and I feel sure that all who know him mourn his loss.
